September 2023—Karl Doucas, Afsheen Khan, and Daniel Picco had the privilege of visiting several cities and towns in Northern Italy with the Designing with Stone Tour 2023. They toured quarries, fabrication shops, and historical landmarks. Daniel and Afsheen presented a seminar to the group. They also attended MARMOMAC, where the Natural Stone Institute interviewed Afsheen about the 2022 Grande Pinnacle award-winning project, Utopia.
