This September, I’ll be heading to Italy for a trip I’m always excited about. I’ve been selected to attend Marmomac 2025 in Verona on behalf of PICCO Engineering, with the support of the Italian Trade Agency. It’s an incredible opportunity to not only represent my company but also to learn, grow, and connect with some of the brightest professionals in the stone industry.

Marmomac is the largest international fair dedicated to stone, design, and technology. I’ll be spending time meeting with our existing clients, while also making new connections from around the world. On top of that, I’ll be traveling with a group of Canadian business peers, which will make the experience even more valuable. I’m looking forward to the conversations, shared experiences, and knowledge that come from being surrounded by people who are just as passionate about this industry as I am.

One of the parts I’m most excited for is getting out of the fairgrounds and into the stone quarries and fabrication shops in northern Italy. Seeing the materials at their source and watching the craftsmanship firsthand always gives me a deeper appreciation of the work we do and how it connects globally.

For me, this trip is about more than attending a trade show, it’s a chance to broaden my perspective, expand my knowledge, and continue growing in my career. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity, and I can’t wait to share updates and experiences along the way.
