Located on Bloor St. West, Toronto's center for luxury shopping and adjacent to the Royal Ontario Museum, the new Royal Conservatory Telus Centre for Performance and Learning, Koerner Hall compliments its surroundings. The new additions to the Royal Conservatory of Music act as a backdrop against the existing heritage buildings. The space between the old and the new buildings is enclosed to create a sky-lit pedestrian court. Contemporary glazing systems for the new additions provide a dynamic counterpoint to the poly-chromatic façades of the heritage buildings.

This project demonstrated PICCO Engineering's ability to seamlessly integrate modern techniques and solutions with a historical existing facade.
