MATTHEW INNOCENTE

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

M.Eng, P.Eng

Matthew Innocente is a Professional Engineer with demonstrated expertise in natural stone cladding connections, back-up system engineering, and structural engineering. In his 8 years at PICCO, Matthew has engineered and delivered some of the firms most challenging natural stone facade projects across North America. Historical restoration, masonry, and traditional stone installation methods compliment his advanced knowledge of proprietary systems like Fischer, EClad, Gridworx, Ukon, and honeycomb-backed stone panels, ensuring no project solution is out of reach. A skilled leader and communicator, Matthew’s engineering leadership on the National Air & Space Museum (DC) restoration facade, stands as a testament to his technical ability and professional quality.

Matthew holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science degree and a Master of Engineering (M. Eng) from the University of Toronto, with a specialization in Structural Engineering. Matthew is certified in Masonry Design through achievement with CMDC.
